Group Services
Find your community with Well.
Brief
Our group programs are four-weeks long to provide Well patients flexible and convenient access to tools they can practice right away. Brief means you get to manage your symptoms, practice new skills, and work towards your goals right away.
Focused
Our group programs are focused on bite-sized ideas and skills that will allow you to learn a new tool, practice it, and have the confidence to take it with you into your everyday life. Our groups target specific needs or symptoms like anxiety, depression, loneliness and social isolation, and relationship difficulties.
Empowering
Our group programs empower you to stretch beyond your comfort zone and engage with new social connections. Our goal-based programs are designed to help you cultivate openness and flexibility to improve your mental and emotional well-being in safe spaces you can rely on.
All Age Groups
Teens
Support groups and group psychotherapy offer teens important opportunities for growth, healing, and social and emotional development. Groups provide vital opportunities for teens to practice and experience safe, positive social interactions with their peers. Teens experience enormous challenges related to belonging, social stigma, and personal and social identity. Our groups can help.
Not all teens are alike, however. Teen groups are specifically prepared for individuals in middle school through high school (ages 13-18).
Adults
Adults encounter numerous relational and interpersonal challenges over the course of their lifetime. Groups may help facilitate the processing of these challenges while also serving as critical environments to practice new coping skills or skills to improve interpersonal dynamics. Adults experience issues related to their work-life balance, stress and uncertainty, and new roles as caregivers, parents, and partners.
Adult groups are designed with the various developmental stages of adulthood in mind. Groups are run for emerging adults (ages 18-25), young adults (25-40), and middle-aged adults (40-60).
Older Adults
Older adults may experience unique challenges best supported by joining a group. Issues of loneliness, social isolation, grief and loss, and finding meaning in retirement may be some of the issues this community faces.
Often neglected from the telehealth experience, Well provides accessible group psychotherapy and support group options for older adults (ages 60+). Digital literacy tools are available to facilitate the telehealth experience.
