Why Join a Well Group?

Our groups bring people together to build social connection to navigate challenging issues. Well’s groups were developed using best practices for accessibility to create communities that will learn, grow, and foster resilience to meet this moment.

We offer various group programs for interested clients specialized by age groups. You’ll meet people from diverse backgrounds you can feel comfortable with.

Each group has been curated to meet our communities’ diverse needs and runs for 4 weeks. The cost for each group is $45/week, or $180 for the entire program. Groups may be a part of your insurance plan.

Participants are expected to attend all 4 sessions when signing up.

What to Expect in a Group

Group therapy or support groups are process-oriented experiences that allow you to manage your symptoms or challenges in your life in reliable, predictable, safe, and enjoyable social environments.

Groups use the power of social connection and relationship-building to create healing networks. The community you can form in your group promotes learning, growth, and development, and your experiences may likely enhance your capacity for compassion along your care journey.

Groups are also evidence-based and can provide you equivalent and efficient paths to treatment for a variety of mental health concerns. Moreover, group therapy may be a more affordable yet equally effective treatment option for your specific mental health care needs.

Our groups are led by talented group psychotherapists and are conducted using our secure, HIPAA-compliant patient portal.

Teens

Support groups and group psychotherapy offer teens important opportunities for growth, healing, and social and emotional development. Groups provide vital opportunities for teens to practice and experience safe, positive social interactions with their peers. Teens experience enormous challenges related to belonging, social stigma, and personal and social identity. Our groups can help.

Not all teens are alike, however. Teen groups are specifically prepared for individuals in middle school through high school (ages 13-18).

Adults

Adults encounter numerous relational and interpersonal challenges over the course of their lifetime. Groups may help facilitate the processing of these challenges while also serving as critical environments to practice new coping skills or skills to improve interpersonal dynamics. Adults experience issues related to their work-life balance, stress and uncertainty, and new roles as caregivers, parents, and partners.

Adult groups are designed with the various developmental stages of adulthood in mind. Groups are run for emerging adults (ages 18-25), young adults (25-40), and middle-aged adults (40-60).

OlderAdults

Older Adults

Older adults may experience unique challenges best supported by joining a group. Issues of loneliness, social isolation, grief and loss, and finding meaning in retirement may be some of the issues this community faces.

Often neglected from the telehealth experience, Well provides accessible group psychotherapy and support group options for older adults (ages 60+). Digital literacy tools are available to facilitate the telehealth experience.
